Actually,”Pessimists has higher blood pressure and cholesterol; optimistic women had a 9% lower risk of developing heart disease and a 14% lower risk of dying from any cause after more than eight years of follow-up”( latumahina, 2010) I did a full on speech lecture on this, so please make sure you really do research. Thank you

If you dig into the studies summarized in this article, you’ll see that people with higher levels of optimism actually do tend to have a variety of physiological differences in terms of stress response, blood pressure, inflammation, etc., as well as different lifestyle habits. The precise nature of the relationship between optimism and health is an open question, but the research is pretty unambiguous that there is some kind of relationship.

It does puzzle me when someone simply says that a scientific study is “incorrect.” You can disagree over interpretation, of course, but you’re going to have to get more a bit more nuanced than that!
